About Isis Search and Rescue

Imagine an elderly relative wanders away from their home, a parent doesn't come home after work or for whatever reason a loved one is missing. When a vulnerable person goes missing, a timely, well-measured response is vital to their chances of survival.

Across the country Police forces rely upon Lowland Search and Rescue teams, like Isis Search and Rescue, to provide a reliable resource of well trained but unpaid professionals. Our members are available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Isis Search and Rescue has undergone, and passed, an assessment by the national body that oversees Lowland Search and Rescue, ALSAR. Passing the assessment means that Isis can become a full member of ALSAR and will be avaliable to Thames Valley Police to call directly. In addition to serving vulnerable missing people in Oxfordshire, Isis SAR are frequently requested to assist other ALSAR teams all over the country and have recently assisted Wiltshire, Hampshire, Berkshire (SEBEV), Sussex and Dorset's ALSAR Units.
